Proposals for Student Collaboration

CEA has a strong tradition for student participation and collaboration, as currently evidenced by the Critical Edges Magazine and the Global Voices Podcast. Our student representatives would like to do even more and have come up with a series of ideas for possible future collaborations, including a language learning program "Language Matchmaker," an art project "How can you move walls?," a CEA "Book Club," and a forum for "Global Discussions on Social Movements". We invite students at all CEA institutions to join them and help develop these ideas.

New Season of Global Voices Podcast

CEA's student podcast has started on its second season. This season is dedicated to "Epistemologies of the South." Student from different CEA universities here present their understanding of these discussions, with perspectives from different parts of the world. You can now listen to the first episode on the divide between the Global North and the Global South.

Critical Edges is Asking for Your Support

CEA student magazine Critical Edges is growing and changing. The editors are recruting many new volunteers and redefining their editorial vision to make the content even more relevant for students and their lives. They are also organizing meetings and workshops to help students become better editors, writers, and organizors. In 2021, they will launch new thematic publication projects, organize talks and seminars ith students across campuses, and Plan to host an annual (online) meet up conference. The magazine, which is entirely operated by volunteers, can only realize all these plans with your help. Their planned expenses are described n detail on their donation page. Please consider supporting them by donating or by sharing their donnation page.
